Q: WHERE WAS YOUR BUSINESS AT BEFORE JOINING THE PROGRAM?
Before I joined the TFP program, I had been full time in my own business for less than 6 months. I was working with a couple of repeat clients I had from when I freelanced part time. I was hoping that the random work I was doing was going to bring in some amazing job that was going to fix everything. I had very little strategy, and I was desperate for work. This put me at odds with every potential client I met with, as I had very little leverage beyond my strong portfolio of work I know I could do for a client if given the chance.
Q: WHAT HAS YOUR EXPERIENCE BEEN LIKE?
This program has given me the structure I was craving in my business. Before, I had so much energy, but was directionless. Now, I have a place I can go to for answers, feedback, and continual learning. One of my favorite parts of the program are the strategy calls we have bi weekly. I am consistently learning new things, which has made SUCH a huge change in my business. Knowing what things I can bring up in a discovery call, role playing discovery calls, how to communicate the value I can provide to a potential client--all of these have been learned inside the program.
Q: WHAT RESULTS HAVE YOU SEEN IN YOUR BUSINESS SINCE JOINING?
In the few months I have been in the program, I have gone from 2 clients to 10 clients. Before joining, my average invoice was close to $3,000. Now, my average has raised to $5,000, with a few of my invoices in the last 6 months reaching 5 figures! The difference in my business is night and day--I feel empowered now, and that has translated my confidence to potential clients, and the energy and work just keeps flowing!
